How to Take on a SA Without ANY Upfront Cost
This is the latest apartment we have taken on.
Total investment to take on this unit:
- Rent advance: £900
- Deposit: £1350
- Furniture: £2500
- Agency fees: £300
Total = £5050
However, we could have taken deposit insurance for this apartment instead and that would’ve cost us £200.
We could have then taken out the furniture on a lease, and again that would’ve cost us around £200 up front (please check with a leasing company)
So that means the total investment would’ve been = £1600!
We have our first guest checking in on Saturday for 20 nights and he paid us £2000 upfront for the reservation.
We could have then used that money to pay for all the upfront costs and therefore getting an apartment without spending any money at all!
You do not need to spend a lot of money to take on these units. You just need to know what you’re doing and then taking action.
